TerraTwin has achieved Smart Freight Centre accreditation, recognised as Certified Reporting Tool CRT 031 under the GLEC Framework — the methodology basis for ISO 14083.
The accreditation process reviewed TerraTwin's calculation engine against GLEC's requirements for transport emissions calculation, covering how the platform selects emission factors, models transport distance, and handles multimodal shipments.
What this means for customers
GLEC accreditation gives TerraTwin customers external validation that emissions figures produced on the platform follow a recognised, standards-based methodology — useful when reporting to customers, auditors, or under frameworks like CSRD.
TerraTwin will continue to track updates to the GLEC Framework and ISO 14083 as they evolve, and will seek re-accreditation as new versions are published.
