Libello signs two-year contract with TerraTwin

Libello will use TerraTwin to calculate and report freight emissions in line with ISO 14083 and GLEC v3.

Oslo, Norway

Libello has signed a two-year agreement with TerraTwin to calculate and report freight emissions across its transport network, standardising on a single, audit-ready methodology.

Under the agreement, Libello will use TerraTwin's Digital Twin engine to model each shipment's real transport path — road, rail, sea and air — and generate emissions figures aligned with ISO 14083 and the GLEC Framework v3.

The rollout replaces a mix of manual spreadsheets and one-off carrier reports with a single calculation engine, giving Libello consistent, comparable emissions numbers across its full shipment volume.

Why it matters

As shippers face growing pressure to report Scope 3 logistics emissions under frameworks like CSRD, having one standards-aligned source of truth for freight emissions makes reporting faster and easier to defend under audit.

TerraTwin will onboard Libello's shipment data over the coming months, with full reporting coverage expected before the end of the year.
